bukber
post-fast dinner • verb
EditWhenever you see "ber" at the end of a short word, expect a "sinkatan" or "shortcut": a mix of two or more words together. Here, "ber" means "bareng" (together), and "buk" stands for "buka" which means open (and in that case, "buka puasa" which means ending the fast).
This word can also be worded "bukbar". On a similar note, check out the words "nobar" (nonton bareng) — the activity of watching something together.
